A Year of Giving: January 2025 Drawing Winner

How are we feeling a month into 2025? This January has simultaneously crawled and sped by quickly to me. We are well into rehearsals for Far Off Broadway Players’ ‘The Bunco Squad’ and I’ve slowly been getting better about balancing my work here as well as with my work as a travel advisor, plus all the pesky responsibilities of life in general…but here we are!

I’m excited to share our first ‘Year of Giving’ mini session— my little sister Bella was drawn by the Great and Powerful Spinny Wheel of Destiny. 😂

We made an afternoon of it and stopped by The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse on the square in Glasgow for some warm tea lattes since it’s still freezing out, and then grabbed a warm lunch at Kanha Kafe with our mom and two of my kiddos.

We don’t have the chance to catch up in person as often anymore since I live up here in Kentucky and she now lives in Pikeville, TN with her husband and their fur babies. 🐈 🐈‍⬛

She’s currently finishing up her degree in design studies with a concentration in fashion merchandising at Tennessee Tech University, and hopes to start a small crochet and hand-sewn clothing business soon— peep her cardigan, she made it! 🧶

It’s crazy how time flies, I remember toting her around when she was the size of my youngest back in the early aughts…I can’t wait to see where this next part of her journey takes her!
